Lawrence is a two-time finalist for funniest comic in Texas. His new special called, Trena is out on YouTube now. Telling stories about being raised by a criminal mother, golden girl loving grandma, and being broke in your 30s but making it work.
Shahyan Jahani – Feature
Shahyan is a Dallas-based comedian hitting stages all around these great United States for the past 9 years. He's performed in festivals and clubs across the country and even one dive bar in Marfa, TX where an ex-Marine playfully threatened his life (they ended up getting along pretty well). In Dallas, he's opened for some amazing headliners such as Ari Shaffir, Daniel Van Kirk, Jessica Kirson, and a buncha other ones! He is super nice, always. Kenny Lee – Guest Spot
Kenny is a rising star in stand-up comedy. His brand of clean and clever humor offers a performance that can universally enjoyed. As the winner of 2024's 'Funniest Stand-up in Dallas' as well as Texas' 'Funniest Person with a day job' in 2023, he's taking serious strides in the funny business. You've seen him featuring for the Dallas Observer, the State Fair of Texas, and Blue Whale Comedy Festival as well as recently opening for Ralph Barbosa, Joey Avery, and Tone Bell of Netflix's 'Drink Masters'.
Ruth Banks – Host
Born and raised in Dallas, Ruth Banks is a stand up comedian who stands out. Equipped with a spine of steel (literally...there’s 20 screws in there!), she brings an unstoppable combination of sharp wit and unique life experience that makes her set one of a kind.
Her debut comedy album “Screwed” was released in December of 2022 and her comedy special “Braced” was recorded in a back brace after spinal surgery in 2024. She’s been doing comedy for 7 years in the DFW area, is an audience favorite, and brings an unmatched energy to the stage every time.
