I had the pleasure of working closely with Gretchen Young for nearly two years at Harvest Hall, part of Hotel Vin and the Coury Hospitality group, and I cannot recommend her highly enough.
While Gretchen is an incredibly talented stand-up comedian, her value goes far beyond the stage. She independently produces and hosts monthly stand-up comedy shows (handling booking, hosting, and overall execution) and also partnered with our team to develop, produce, and host a variety of recurring weekly events including Bingo, Trivia, Game Show Nights (Family Feud, Jeopardy-style formats), the Dating Game, and more.
Over the course of our time working together, Gretchen proved herself to be a true powerhouse and an absolute pleasure to collaborate with. She approaches every event as both a performer and a strategic partner: actively taking feedback, making thoughtful adjustments, and, most importantly, bringing proactive suggestions based on real-time crowd engagement and audience behavior.
Her instincts for entertainment, pacing, and guest interaction consistently elevated the experience and drove repeat attendance. While I’ve since moved on from the hospitality group and am genuinely sad not to get to work with her on a daily basis anymore, I would jump at the chance to partner with Gretchen again in any capacity. Seamless, Fun, & Stressfree: A Perfect Holiday Party
I hired Gretchyo Presents to emcee at our company Holiday party, and I couldn’t be more pleased with how everything went.
