Comedian Bios:
Brady Matthews (Headliner)
Brady Matthews is a high-energy, Chicago-raised comedian whose explosive charisma and sharp storytelling have made him a standout on stages across the country. He’s shared the spotlight with comedy heavyweights like Demetri Martin, Trevor Wallace, and Annie Lederman, and has been featured at Skankfest and the Life Is Beautiful Festival, while becoming a favorite at top clubs on the Las Vegas Strip.
Brady has also appeared on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, How I Met Your Mother, and in the Leonardo DiCaprio film J. Edgar. Known for turning the chaos of his wild life—especially as a father—into electric, character-driven comedy, he brings big energy, impersonations, and nonstop punchlines to every performance.
Brady also hosts a monthly show at Gallery Defy called The Art of Comedy and co-hosts the hit podcasts Probably Canceled Podcast and Just the Tips with Derek Holland, continuing to grow a loyal and rapidly expanding fanbase.
Kenny Lee (Feature)
Kenny is a rising star in stand-up comedy. His brand of clean and clever humor offers a performance that can universally enjoyed. As the winner of 2024's 'Funniest Stand-up in Dallas' as well as Texas' 'Funniest Person with a day job' in 2023, he's taking serious strides in the funny business. You've seen him featuring for the Dallas Observer, the State Fair of Texas, and Blue Whale Comedy Festival as well as recently opening for Ralph Barbosa, Joey Avery, and Tone Bell of Netflix's 'Drink Masters'.
Ana Buenostro (Guest Spot)
Ana Buenrostro has spent the last decade on stage at clubs and colleges all over, talking about the things that keep her up at night: family group chats, dating in your 30s, and whether personal growth is real or just expensive journaling.
With roots in Guadalajara and a big extended family that believes in honesty as a contact sport, Ana learned early how to take a joke and how to fake cry when needed. Her comedy blends culture, relationships, and the constant pressure to become a “better version” of yourself while still being beautifully unfiltered and a work in progress.
Ruth Banks (Host)
Born and raised in Dallas, Ruth Banks is a stand up comedian who stands out. Equipped with a spine of steel (literally...there’s 20 screws in there!), she brings an unstoppable combination of sharp wit and unique life experience that makes her set one of a kind.
Her debut comedy album “Screwed” was released in December of 2022 and her comedy special “Braced” was recorded in a back brace after spinal surgery in 2024. She’s been doing comedy for 7 years in the DFW area, is an audience favorite, and brings an unmatched energy to the stage every time.
